Rosa\, EEOC \n9:45am to 10:00am—Break \n10:00am to 11:30am—Guest Speaker\,  Matthew Camardella\, Principal\, Jackson Lewis-Long Island P.C. \nTopic: The “Kitchen Sink” Update: Impact of the Harvard Case on DEI Programs\, OFCCP Developments\, and EEO-1 Reporting \n This presentation will cover a wide array of topics including repercussions on DEI programs following the Supreme Court decision in the Harvard Case\, updates on OFCCP’s new scheduling letter and pre-determination rule\, and the latest on the 2022 EEO-1 reporting cycle.  It will address how employers are coping with the heightened risk associated with DEI programs and provide practical tips to reassess specific initiatives.  In addition\, he will provide an update on OFCCP’s use of its new scheduling letter\, focusing on the additional items the Agency expects from contractors at the outset of an audit.  He will also discuss the implications of OFCCP’s new rules related to pre-enforcement communications and conciliation.  Finally\, Matt will provide an overview of changes for the long-awaited 2022 EEO-1 reporting cycle. \nMatthew Camardella is a principal in the Long Island\, New York\, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He is the co-leader of the Affirmative Action\, OFCCP and Government Contract Compliance practice group. \nMatt directs the preparation of thousands of AAPs each year and has defended hundreds of OFCCP audits for a broad range of employers across the country. He also serves as the practice group lead on responding to OFCCP allegations of classbased discrimination and has litigated against the Agency before the Office of Administrative Law Judges. He regularly counsels clients about the design and implementation of company-wide AAP structures\, applicant flow tracking systems\, and other complex “real world” compliance issues. \nMatt spends significant time advising clients on their compensation practices and directing pay equity analyses. He frequently counsels clients on diversity\, equity and inclusion programs and the use of data analytics to support such programs.
