Danny has more than 18 years of professional experience counseling and representing employers on matters before the OFCCP, EEOC, NLRB, and other federal, state, and local agencies. Danny is a partner with the law firm NT Lakis, LLP, and serves as the Vice President of Client Services for the firm’s affiliated consulting arm, Employment Advisory Services, Inc.

Topic:

The Key Policy and Enforcement Initiatives Impacting Compliance Practitioners in 2023

Employers holding federal and state contracts are held to higher workplace standards, particularly when it comes to their compliance, diversity, and inclusion programs. The federal contract “bargain” requires a self-critical evaluation of workplace equity and bias, including meaningful outreach and recruitment efforts, effective monitoring of recruitment and selection data, and careful analysis of compensation data, to name just a few. 2023 will see several significant policy initiatives and updates that will impact these requirements, both inside and outside of the OFCCP. This includes OFCCP’s proposed changes to the Desk Audit Scheduling Letter, the impact of the Supreme Court’s upcoming affirmative action decision, not to mention numerous state and local initiatives on pay reporting, data privacy, and artificial intelligence, just to name a few. This session, facilitated by CWC’s Danny Petrella, will feature a comprehensive update on the key policy initiatives compliance practitioners should be monitoring in 2023 and beyond.

11:30am to 11:45am

Joyce Morgan, Morgan Consulting and Chair of the Professional Development Committee.  Joyce will give overview of the purpose of the PDC, list of updates from OFCCP, as well has a few other topics.
